Proudly calling Mexia home since 1951, I’ve spent the last five decades serving our community through real estate, civic leadership, and local business development. After graduating from Sam Houston State University, I established deep roots in Limestone County—and I’ve been committed to its growth ever since.
As a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker for 50 years, I’m the Broker/Owner of Forrest Real Estate, as well as the Owner of Womack Insurance Service and Forrest Properties. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on helping families, businesses, and investors find their place in our community, always with an emphasis on trust, service, and local pride.
My commitment to community extends far beyond the business world. I’ve proudly served in numerous civic and leadership roles over the years, including:
- Rotary Club Member – 48 years of perfect attendance; Past Club President
- Board President, Parkview Regional Hospital – Serving for 15+ years
- President, Mexia Industrial Foundation – 20+ years of leadership
- Mexia Athletic Booster Club – Past President, current Treasurer (40+ years of involvement)
- Chairman, Mexia Planning & Zoning Board – 12 years
- Limestone County Commissioner, Precinct 4 – Serving since 2010

I was raised in Mexia, Texas, and graduated from Baylor University in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. I've lived in McLennan County for over 35 years and have proudly called Lorena home for the past 25.

- 10 years with the Lorena Little League serving as sponsorship coordinator
- 10 years with Lorena Athletic Association
- Coached the youth of Lorena and the surrounding communities for over 12 years in baseball, football and basketball
